lyrics
Fade away
Surrounded by ghosts
Captured in freedom of my thoughts
In this jail of idleness and doom
Silence doesn’t let me rest
More in height
The dance of the stars
And their sadness deforms the soul
Along the time
I must have died
Bound to this being
I stare forwards
Gloomy dismal world
I harvest your spirit
Implant the seed into my brain
The pulp completes my flesh
And again I’m falling
Receive me in your womb!
I am the one that fades with you
The god that creates you

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Very late to the party, but for several years I've found melodic black metal all too similar and all albums sounding like Dissection, etc... HOWEVER, not only I am back into it but UADA is still a layer of complexity above the main baseline and this is an old album worth having, that's a basic milestone in UADA's discography and I felt it needed to be part of my BC collection. sachavonkarl74
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024

This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo
