Amongst wild structures embroiled in an endless fight of domination, amongst dissolving forms pretending to know right and wrong, trying to justify their own being. In between this fuss you can find a certain figure that doesn’t care about all this, a figure that is and does not pretend to be. Complex in it’s simplicity it satisfies itself. "Schattenbringer" does not bring truth but all it’s different kinds. Constructs made of contrast.

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey.
The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way ! quentin_milcent
De Kronieken continue, and De Maan, Zon van de Doden is my favourite Fluisteraars track since Nasleep! It sports just about everything I love about this band (except for Nasleep's gorgeously weird production fx)! De Mystiek... also is one hell of a ride, and on par with the first EP. Yes I could go into details here, but I really don't want to spoil the fun. All I will say is that Gelderland's very finest gentlemen are back in town and ready to grab you by the balls in the most metal of ways. David Fischer
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024
While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer
